Laser Diagnosis
Dr. Blumberg has recently added yet another new high tech device to his practice. It's called Diagnodent. Instead of using an x-ray to detect cavities, the Diagnodent uses laser light energy to measure fluorencence within the tooth structure. This means no more "exploratory' drilling on suspect teeth. The Diagnodent is so precise it can detect decay at it's earliest stages, before it becomes a big problem.

Tooth Prints

As a parent, one of your greatest fears is that your child might get lost, or worse, be abducted. If such a situation were to occur, your prompt response with photographs and other concrete means for tracking your child and making identification is paramount.

Toothprints is a dental ID that takes only four minutes. It is comfortable for your child and gives you peace of mind.

Toothprints is a patented, arch shaped thermoplastic wafer. When your child bites into the softened wafer it records all their teeth characteristics simplifying identification. A sample of your child’s saliva is taken at the same time and can be used for DNA testing. The Toothprint wafer also takes your child’s scent so in case of an emergency, tracking dogs can be brought in. The Toothprint wafer will be placed in a special zippered plastic bag and given to you for safekeeping.
